Habs Junior Science Fair 2010

The theme of the Science Fair 2010 was Saving the Planet (the environment), and the competition produced much enthusiasm and effort and a very pleasing number of good quality presentations.

The winners of the Year 7 Science Fair (in a very close run final) were a team from 7H – Jacob Knight, Dylan Dissanayake and Khush Kotecha with a project on Photovoltaic Cells and the runners up were a team from 7S – Bhavin Shah, Aadil Khan, Akhil Dewan with a project on Acid Rain. The winners of the Year 8 event were George Hill, Sebastian Binns and Ranishka Kumarage from 8C. Deputy Head Mr Simon Boyes kindly presented the prizes to all of the winners.
